I attended McMaster University where I completed my B.Sc.N.

How did you find the transition from RCS to your next phase of life?
My education at RCS prepared me well for my university courses. I felt like it was a very smooth transition from high school to university.

B.Sc.N. from McMaster University

What is your current occupation?
I worked as a RN for several years after graduation before transitioning to work as a firefighter in Toronto. I also co-own a promotional products business with another RCS alumnus. 🙂

Where do you currently live? Lynden, Ontario

Are you married? Yes

If yes, for how long? Since 2008

Do you have children, if yes, how many? Yes – 4!

Grandchildren? Not yet.

Have you retired? Not yet.

What feedback or suggestions do you have for the teachers working with our graduating seniors?
To keep doing what you are doing! I enjoyed my time at RCS and feel it well prepared me university and afterwards.

Do you feel connected to RCS? Please provide a reason for your response.
I didn’t feel very connected to RCS until the last couple of years when our oldest daughter started attending RCS. I’m getting more involved again and meeting up with old friends and teachers is bringing back a lot of good memories.

From your perspective, what is the value of an RCS education?
A Christ-centered, biblical education is vitally important today as much as it ever was.

What is your favourite memory from RCS?
I have great memories of exciting science experiments with Mr. Keuning.
